Hotelito Desconocido ("Unknown Little Hotel") is an innovative concept starting with its name, all the way up to the use of solar energy as the only power source in the hotel. In the evenings, hundreds of candles light the rooms and the restaurant. Torches light the pathways that weave through the hotel. In every aspect, Hotelito Desconocido evokes a spirit of taking care of nature.
There is a meal fee per person that has to be paid at check in.
Hotelito Desconocido is located 60 miles south of Puerto Vallarta and three miles from tiny town of the Loreto Cross in Costalegre in Jalisco, Mexico. The estimated drive time from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to Hotelito Desconocido is two hours.

The property has 27 palafitos (bungalows on stilts) ready to welcome you. These rustic style guestrooms built by the estuary are located around the main section of the hotel.
We offer exquisite traditional Mexican cuisine in our two restaurants, which have ocean or lagoon views. The emphasis is on Mexican cuisine, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Some of the products are grown in our own organic and tropical garden.
