Puerto Vallarta offers an extremely wide variety of attractions and entertainment options: shopping, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, golfing, clubbing or just plain relaxing on the beach. There are many things to see and do in Puerto Vallarta that will keep you entertained, until it is sadly time to depart.

Conchas Chinas, a quiet beach also in the hotel area, features natural wading-pools created by rock formations. At the southernmost point of Banderas Bay (and accessible only by boat) is the Playa Yelapa, a very secluded and beautiful spot. Breathtaking views, a waterfall, hiking and riding make this a hidden paradise.
Puerto Vallarta provides outstanding scuba diving & snorkeling opportunities all year long. The rugged coastline with its large rock formations provides exciting underwater adventures; the most popular destinations are Los Arcos, Quimixto and the Marietas Islands, located about an hour boat ride from Puerto Vallarta. Several tour companies provide excellent services for snorkeling and dive trips.
Each winter season a growing number of travelers enjoy excursions to view the migrating humpback whales that either visit or live in the Bahia de Banderas. Among them we find bottlenose and spotted dolphins, which always get a great smile from everyone.

You can find everything: the perfect souvenir at the beach, where many of the bargains will come directly to you as you relax on the beach. For those who simply must get a little browsing in while on vacation, be sure to stop by the municipal market in the Rio Cuale area.
