Two of the most popular parks in the region are the Metropolitano and Lagartomania. The Metropolitano Park is located next to the Carpintero Lagoon. The Lagartomania Aquatic Park has pools, waterslides, tennis and volleyball courts, a football field, as well as a pier that stretches out over the Panuco River.

 

 


Miramar Beach

La Piramide de las Flores

If you want to learn more about the Huastecos culture, then visit the small archeological site, known as the La Piramide de las Flores (Pyramid of Flowers), which was populated between 600 and 1200 AD.
