| El Quelite is one of those beautiful Mexican towns where it feels like you've gone back in time. This peaceful place, located only 25 miles from downtown Mazatlan, maintains its traditional charm. The first thing you'll notice when you arrive to El Quelite are its colorful colonial-style houses with red roof tiles. These constructions are still made of adobe bricks, a material formed with sun dried earth and straw.
